I am frequently asked about tips on insurance. One suggestion is to remember this simple phrase: “Protection, Protection, Protection!” Everything comes at a price. Our society has influenced us to think that the lowest premium is always the best option. This is not always the case.
I enjoy helping people learn about coverages and limits so they can make better choices about the insurance they buy. We need to manage/eliminate the risks associated with our activities so that we do not have to experience a claim. But, when a claim does arise, you can have peace of mind. With the right coverages, insurance allows us freedom from the worry of losing many of the things we have worked so hard for.
But it is also about the service after the sale. I like to deliver customer service that makes our customers want to tell others about their wonderful experience. We are a family owned agency and have been since 1932. If a client ever has a concern or comment, I am here to listen and respond.
People often ask me how I maintain a positive outlook on life. Well, for many years I have believed that all things work to the good. We may not see the good or benefit today but, if we wait long enough, we will. Also, I see events as wins and lessons. There is always a lesson to be learned in every endeavor.
When I am not working and have some free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy attending Iowa Wild games, playing golf, and scuba diving.

Krysta Wyckoff-Krysta enjoys working in such a great office environment with fun and energetic coworkers. Different than most agencies, she values that at Goodhue Nolte Insurance we do not work as individuals but as a team. Any agent can help any client at any time- just one of the many services our customers can expect. Krysta started with Goodhue Nolte in 2008 and is now the office manager but still makes time to help with quoting new business and providing customer service to our great clients. At the end of the day, it is about helping people protect their assets. When a client has a good claims experience, “I know I have done my job.”

Justin Wyckoff- Justin started working at Goodhue Nolte during a college internship and ended up staying on full time after graduating from Central College in 2012. Justin works with Paul on the Commercial/Business accounts but also handles personal lines. Justin has a passion for learning and continues to take advanced level classes in many areas. He is an avid Iowa Hawkeye Football fan and enjoys traveling the world-12 countries so far but many more to come.

Karlie started working at Goodhue Nolte in January of 2022 as a Customer Service Agent but first stepped into the office when her sister Mackenzie was a member of the GNIA team about 11 years ago. Karlie is from Eddyville, Iowa and grew up playing sports and spending time with her four older siblings. She excelled in Volleyball and attended the University of Northern Iowa to play for the Panthers. Present day Karlie loves to help others, chase after her 15 nieces and nephews, and relax at home with her husband and 3 cats.

Taylor’s transition from the bustling restaurant floor to the insurance sector showcases her adaptability and commitment to helping others.
With a keen understanding of insurance products and a knack for addressing client needs with care and precision, Taylor ensures that every client receives the best possible service. Her ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a positive attitude under pressure reflects her diverse background and strong work ethic.
Outside of her professional life, Taylor is a devoted animal lover who enjoys spending time with her dog, Floyd. She also values her vibrant social life, often attending live music events and cherishing moments with her amazing friends. Taylor’s enthusiasm for connecting with people and her passion for life enrich both her personal and professional interactions.
